Do you wonder...
Why am I so anxious?
There are four primary ways we develop clinical anxiety – we call these “vehicles of acquisition.“
We explore your vehicles of acquisition to create the most effective treatment path. Then, we get to work.
Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is a level of mental healthcare that is typically more structured and intensive than traditional weekly therapy. IOP is effective because it condenses months of therapy into a shorter period of time. The IOP can range from 1 to 6 weeks and involves 5-20 hours of specialized, evidence-based treatment per week.
IOP is recommended for clients whose symptoms are seriously interfering with daily life (work, school performance, family, and other relationships), underwent other treatments with minimal or no benefit, or live in an area without access to specialized treatment options.
Our virtual IOP is delivered via telemental health to clients directly in their homes to help them achieve their recovery goals while still maintaining their daily responsibilities. The treatment is individualized and specifically tailored to the needs and presenting concerns of each client.
Unlike many IOPs that are largely group-based, self-guided and involve interventions that are rather general, our IOP is based exclusively on individual treatment sessions, i.e., client and clinician work one-on-one to address each client’s constellation of symptoms via targeted evidence-based interventions.
This program is designed for adults and children 11 years and older.
The treatment duration typically ranges from 1 to 6 weeks, with individuals receiving anywhere between 5 to 20 hours of one-on-one therapy sessions per week, depending on their specific needs and progress.
1. Initial evaluation and treatment recommendations
2. Education and treatment planning
3. One-on-one treatment sessions (Parent and/or family or significant other involvement as needed.)
4. Follow-up care
Our one-week intensive treatment program is designed to jumpstart the therapeutic process or provide a boost for clients who have made limited progress in an ongoing treatment program. This program is specifically tailored for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing moderate to severe symptoms. While these individuals are still able to function in everyday activities such as attending school, work, and other responsibilities, they continue to face significant struggles.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Initial Evaluation: A comprehensive diagnostic assessment is conducted to gather information and provide treatment recommendations.
Preparation Phase (4-6 Weekly Sessions):
Intensive Week: The client will engage in 3-5 hours per day of individual therapy, Monday through Friday, providing focused, immersive treatment.
Relapse Prevention Phase: After the intensive week, 3-6 months of weekly follow-up sessions are offered. These sessions focus on the continuation of treatment, prevention of relapse, and ensuring the long-term maintenance of progress and effective symptom management.
