Justin Rosgen

Justin's Story

Justin is currently completing his Master’s in Counseling at Bastyr University. Bastyr’s MindBody approach aligns with Justin’s  interest in somatic therapies (including yoga and breathwork), and he practices from a person-centered and experiential basis. Justin is learning Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and is excited to specialize in the treatment of anxiety and OCD.

Justin graduated from Seattle University with a bachelor’s in psychology with a specialization in addiction studies in 2001. His early experience in the mental health field was in residential treatment working with adolescents. In between this introduction and his return for an advanced degree, Justin lived in Costa Rica and worked in the food and beverage industry alongside James Beard nominee, Ethan Stowell.

As a therapist, Justin hopes to create a place where clients can feel safe to heal. He believes that together, therapist and client can face the past experiences that may be holding them back or keeping them in a place of trauma. And like all of the clinicians at the West Coast Anxiety Clinic, Justin specializes in helping his clients overcome fears (big or small) that are inhibiting them from living a more fulfilling life.
