Do you wonder...
Why am I so anxious?
There are four primary ways we develop clinical anxiety – we call these “vehicles of acquisition.“
We explore your vehicles of acquisition to create the most effective treatment path. Then, we get to work.
There are invaluable resources in the community for OCD, and it’s important you know that you’re not alone. As you are thinking about your journey through treatment, make sure to explore all your options to see what works best in your life and budget.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is defined by the DSM-5 as the presence of obsessions and / or compulsions, a struggle with these obsessions or compulsions, and recognition that obsessions are a product of mind.
The impact of OCD can be severe and pervasive. Obsessions and compulsions take up a significant amount of time each day, at minimum an hour, and the more time we devote to making the obsessions go away, the bigger OCD gets. The bigger OCD gets, the smaller life becomes.
Treatment for OCD is designed specifically to make your life bigger than the symptoms of OCD. Read more here about how we get stuck in the OCD anxiety loop, and click below if you’d like to plug in with one of our clinicians. We will help you get unstuck.
