Do you wonder...
Why am I so anxious?
There are four primary ways we develop clinical anxiety – we call these “vehicles of acquisition.“
We explore your vehicles of acquisition to create the most effective treatment path. Then, we get to work.
Characterized by compulsive hair pulling and intense urges to pull, TTM results in bald patches on the body and ultimately, significant distress shows up in a variety of important life domains (work, social, intimate, etc.).
This disorder, much like Excoriation Disorder and OCD, waxes and wanes it’s presentation. In other words, TTM and the havoc it causes in your life comes in waves. Just like the urges.
We use Habit Reversal Training, or ACT-enhanced Habit Reversal Training, to treat TTM. This treatment can help you control the pulling and surf the urges.
